Hyderabad: An 86-year-old industrialist was killed by his grandson over a property dispute. It has been reported by the police that multiple stab wounds have been noticed on the victim's body.

Police said the incident took place on the night of February 6. His grandson Kirti Teja has been accused of hacking the industrialist to death. When the mother of the accused tried to stop the attack on the grandfather, she was also attacked. Teja's mother is also seriously injured.

Teja had just returned from America after completing his studies. Returning home, he accompanied his mother to meet his grandfather at his home.

Police said a dispute started there with the grandfather over Teja's property. Then Teja took out a knife and beat Dadu hard on the stone. The old man died on the spot.

During the initial investigation, Teja claimed to the police that since childhood, he loved his grandfather less. He was angry about it. Recently, his grandfather refused to give him a share of the property, so he killed him in anger.

When questioned about the knife injury, the police informed that there were multiple knife injuries on the dead body. The exact number of burglaries will be ascertained based on the post-mortem report.
