Manish Sisodia will again be seen as deputy chief minister if AAP wins  Delhi assembly elections, Kejriwal announced at a public meeting in Jangpur center on Sunday.

Urging the voters of Jangpur constituency to elect Sisodia, Kejriwal told the public meeting that "after AAP's victory, he will be deputy chief minister, and all of you will be deputy chief minister with him."

Sisodia, who was a major part of the AAP government and served as Kejriwal's deputy. after the Arrest of kejriwal in Delhi liquor excise policy case in March 2023. He will be contesting assembly polls from Jangpur constituency but he is an MLA from Patparganj.

Kejriwal made various comments against BJP in the rally. He said, "Last time, BJP MLAs won eight assembly constituencies. After winning, they did not do any work in the area. They made those eight assemblies a living hell."

Kejriwal also said, "I and Sisodia have made government schools excellent by looking after the future of the children of the area but now the BJP is saying that they will close all government schools if they form the government."

In jangpur  AAP faces tough competition for nominations from BJP's Tarvinder Singh Marwah and Congress's Farhad Suri. Assembly elections will be announced on February 8.
