BJP has stormed to victory in the Delhi elections, and while jubilant cheers echo from Narendra Modi and Parvesh Verma's camps, there’s one figure whose cheering is even louder than them—Swati Maliwal, whose triumph gleams brighter than the saffron wave itself.

Following the party's triumph, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) member and outspoken critic Swati Maliwal voiced her discontent with the party's leadership, particularly targeting Arvind Kejriwal.

Maliwal, once considered a trusted associate of Kejriwal, did not hold back in attributing AAP's defeat to his leadership style. She remarked, "I feel that if a person gets extremely arrogant and stops working for the people, then people teach that man a lesson. That is exactly what has happened with Arvind Kejriwal today."

She emphasized the collective efforts of party members who initially envisioned transforming Delhi, stating, "All of us have contributed so much to the party. We came with a vision that we would change Delhi...But unfortunately, we could not because of our leadership who does not believe in internal democracy, who believes he can get away with anything with speaking any lie, with beating up people."

Maliwal criticized the poor state of infrastructure and governance in Delhi, taking a jab at Kejriwal's controversial residence: "If you see, in Delhi right now, any locality or colony...it is in shambles. There is no governance. The roads are broken, the drainage system is overflowing, there is filth and garbage on roads, water supply is polluted - there is either black water or yellow disgusting water or no water at all. Yamuna is extremely polluted and there's air pollution. While all of this is going on, what does Arvind Kejriwal do? He creates a 'Sheeshmahal'.

The 'Sheeshmahal' allegation, was initially put forward by BJP, accusing Kejriwal of indulging in lavish expenses despite his previous promises of modest living. Maliwal remarked, "On one end, you say you will never take any security or a government house, and on the other, you indulge in such kind of flashy luxuries using public money.

Maliwal also brought up a personal grievance involving an alleged assault by Kejriwal's aide, Bibhav Kumar. "On one end you say you want work for women's safety, on the other you ensure a woman parliamentarian is beaten in your house, she's thrown away." She questioned Bibhav Kumar's privileged position, asking, "How come a 'mamuli gunda' gets this position?"

In a powerful closing statement, Maliwal voiced her disappointment in AAP's leadership, saying, "It is really unfortunate...The dream of Delhi has been lost. We have suffered a huge defeat but I blame Arvind Kejriwal for this."

Despite her scathing criticism, Maliwal affirmed that she has no plans to quit AAP. Recently Swati Maliwal took to X (follwing BJP's win)with a bold post referencing Draupadi's disrobing from the Mahabharata—an unmistakable symbol of betrayal. Her message struck a chord across social media, igniting a storm of reactions.

"ZABARDAST," cheered one user, while others declared, "She deserves to be CM of Delhi!" and hailed her as the "Woman of the Match." Hundreds flooded the platform with congratulations, turning Maliwal into the unexpected hero of the moment.

In the end, while BJP celebrates its victory, it is Swati Maliwal who truly basks in the glow of triumph—not over political rivals but over the very man she once stood beside. As Kejriwal grapples with the ashes of AAP’s downfall, Maliwal stands vindicated, her voice resonating louder than ever. The Draupadi of Delhi has turned betrayal into her battlefield, emerging not as a victim, but as a force to be reckoned with.
